Trois Femmes
Painting in the style of Christianne Knops. It's more the work process of Knops that I followed rather than the style itself. It's a process of starting out drawing an abstracted figurative composition, then painting in transparent layers, here and there losing the line sketch, then, where desired, picking up the line work again not necessarily following the original composition, but often correcting or adding to it. Then again adding transparent layers etc. and also opaque patches where ever desired.
Composition roughly based on a quick sketch (below) I did earlier based on a photo. The painting turned out quite different.
