Quick sketch of Queen Elizabeth II from a photo I came across on the internet for an exhibition at West Ox Arts Gallery in Oxford (UK). Artists were invited to submit portraits of the Queen in the context her upcoming Diamond Jubilee. Although I'm not a monarchist, I enjoyed participating in this portrait event and seeing the entries of other portraitists. Wax pastel on grained paper (21 x 21 cm).
