In the style of Kees Verwey
Life drawing and painting, the results of the past two weeks, focused on painting in the style of Kees Verwey. As always it was a race against time to try to finish the paintings. Acrylic on paper.

Colour triptych Elle
Final version of the colour triptych that I made during the portrait & model class for the exhibition with the theme "Colour". It's based on a photo triptych (in black and white) that I came across on the internet and found very striking. As it didn't mention the name of the young woman depicted, I chose to name her "Elle". Acrylic on canvas (60 x 60 cm each).
Colour
The portrait & model classes of the past few weeks were focused on creating artworks for an upcoming exhibition in the town hall of Landgraaf, with the theme "Colour". Apart from some finishing touches and without the watercolours that at that moment were being framed, these are the results of our efforts.
